Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13‑week contract at a reputable healthcare facility in Westernport, MD. This role is ideal for an LPN who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, delivers high‑quality patient care, and is comfortable working night shifts with alternating weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and effective nursing care under the supervision of RNs and physicians

• Administer medications and treatments according to facility protocols

• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans

• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Active LPN license in the state of Maryland (or compact license)

• Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience (LTC or acute care preferred)

• Current BLS certification

• Ability to work night shift and every other weekend

• Strong communication and critical‑thinking skills

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
