Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their plan of care, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants
• Monitor patients' conditions and notify physicians of any changes

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Hold a Nursing Degree from an accredited program or college/university
• Current CPR certification

Skills and Qualities:

• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as state, federal, and regulatory requirements that pertain to long-term care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to deal tactfully with a team of inter-disciplinary professionals, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
