Job Summary:

Eastern Star Home in Oriskany, NY is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a full-time basis. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality, personalized care to our residents in accordance with our established nursing care procedures. Responsibilities:

• Provide routine, daily nursing care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist residents with oral hygiene, nail care, and hair care
• Participate in and receive report from the nurse upon reporting for duty
• Review Resident Care Profiles daily to ensure that you are providing appropriate nursing care
• Inform the Charge Nurse of any changes that need to be made to the Resident Care Profile
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident, facility, and/or physician-related information
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to building a supportive work environment and maintaining a positive attitude at the workplace and toward their job

Requirements:

• High School Diploma and Nursing Assistant certification
• On-the-job or equivalent training in nursing procedures
• Ability to perform lifting, bending, and stretching without limitations

Schedule:

Full-time schedule with varied shifts and opportunities for overtime
