Description/ Program Overview

Solera Academy is a paid, highly selective rotational internship designed for students who aspire to become the next generation of hospitality-driven leaders in senior living.

This is not a traditional internship. It is an immersive experience where interns are embedded into the daily life of our communities, gaining real-world exposure to leadership, operations, and the moments that define exceptional living.

Interns gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, which may include Operations, Culinary, Sales and Marketing, Wellness and Engagement, Human Resources, and Maintenance, depending on community needs. The program provides meaningful exposure to day-to-day operations, resident experience, and the business of senior living, while fostering leadership development in a people-first environment.

Solera Academy is ideal for students pursuing degrees in hospitality, business, healthcare administration, human resources, marketing, culinary arts, wellness, or related fields who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a purpose-driven organization.

Solera Academy is intentionally designed to be a selective experience, with a limited number of internship placements each semester. We seek individuals who demonstrate strong character, curiosity, and a genuine passion for people and hospitality.

This program is designed for individuals who are curious, proactive, and energized by working with people. Those looking for a purely observational or task-based internship may not find this experience to be the right fit.

Program Details

The program is offered on a semester basis and is designed to align with academic calendars. Internship schedules may be full-time or part-time depending on availability and community needs. All internships are community-based and in-person, providing direct exposure to daily operations and team collaboration.
