About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team at Candlewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

• Provide personalized care and attention to residents' physical and emotional needs

• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration

• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to licensed staff

• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry best practices

Requirements:

• Current CNA certification in the state of Connecticut

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Compassionate and empathetic towards residents and families
