Responsibilities:

• Wash, dry, and fold patient laundry in a timely and efficient manner

• Iron and starch clothing as needed

• Sort and categorize laundry to ensure timely delivery to patients

• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to infection control guidelines

• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure proper handling and storage of patient belongings

• Restock linens and supplies as needed

• Assist with other laundry-related tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Basic knowledge of laundry procedures and infection control guidelines
