Tamarac Center is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as a Nursing Unit Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations for an assigned unit

• Supervise, support, and provide direction to nursing staff

• Monitor resident care and nursing documentation

• Assist with assessments and care planning

• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations

• Address staff, resident, and family concerns

• Support staff education and professional development

• Collaborate with the DON and interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have:

• Current Florida RN license in good standing

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric care

• Minimum 1 year of nursing management experience

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university

• Current CPR certification

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to lead a nursing team in a fast-paced environment
