LPN Responsibilities

• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers

• Administer medications and coordinate medication requisitions with pharmacies and physicians

• Follow infection control procedures, emergency protocols, and facility policies

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes

• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the appropriate nursing personnel

• Provide nursing care to residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care

• Collect resident data, make observations, and report pertinent information

• Implement and evaluate resident plans of care in accordance with state regulations

• Direct and supervise nursing personnel when permitted by state regulations

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Maintain knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use

• Protect resident confidentiality, privacy, and rights

LPN Qualifications

• Current and valid Florida LPN License

• Current CPR Certification

• Two years of prior nursing experience preferred

• Ability to provide compassionate, professional, and resident-focused care

• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team

This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.
