Job Summary:

Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing, a leading provider of post-acute care and rehabilitation services, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Recreation/Activities Aide to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art facility in Morristown, New Jersey. As a key member of our Activities Department, you will play a vital role in creating a fulfilling and engaging experience for our residents, promoting their social, emotional, and physical well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and implement recreational activities, programs, and outings for residents, including games, arts and crafts, exercise classes, and entertainment events

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive activities calendar to ensure a diverse and engaging program for residents

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address the social, emotional, and physical needs of residents

• Assist with creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents, including decorating common areas and planning special events

• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and families to ensure a high level of satisfaction and care

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make necessary adjustments to ensure resident engagement and satisfaction
