Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time

Skilled Nursing Facility

A well-established skilled nursing and rehabilitation center near Providence, RI is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team. In this role, you’ll help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life while working alongside a supportive, collaborative team. New graduates are welcome to apply!

What you’ll do

• Screen and evaluate residents, and develop individualized plans of care

• Provide individual, concurrent and group treatment under physician orders

• Train residents, families and caregivers to support progress and safety

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning

• Supervise and support COTAs, aides and students as needed

• Complete timely, accurate documentation in line with Medicare and other payer guidelines

• Contribute to clinical program development and quality improvement initiatives

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Rhode Island OT license (or eligibility)

• Knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations

• Strong communication, organization and time-management skills

• Ability to work effectively with residents, families and staff from diverse backgrounds

• Skilled nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
