The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who enjoys mentoring emerging professionals and can provide consistent, supportive, and constructive feedback on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide constructive feedback to strengthen clinical reasoning, treatment planning, documentation, and professional judgment.

  • Support the fellow in applying evidence-based practices and maintaining ethical and professional standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of supervisory activities, observations, feedback, and competency assessments.

  • Communicate with the fellow and relevant facility representatives regarding progress, learning needs, and supervision requirements.

  • Ensure supervision activities meet applicable requirements for frequency, documentation, and direct observation.

  • Provide supervision on a PRN basis as needed to support continuity of mentorship and the fellow’s professional development.

This position is supervisory only. Direct patient evaluations, treatment, and ongoing clinical caseload management are not part of the role unless separately agreed upon.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Current, unrestricted Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license, as applicable to the supervisory role.

  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).

  • Meets current ASHA requirements to serve as a Clinical Fellowship mentor.

  • Demonstrated clinical experience and strong professional judgment.

  • Excellent communication, organization, mentorship, and feedback skills.

  • Ability to complete required supervisory documentation accurately and within established timelines.

Schedule and Compensation

  • PRN, as-needed schedule based on Clinical Fellowship supervision requirements.

  • Flexible scheduling coordinated with the Clinical Fellow and facility.

  • Compensation commensurate with qualifications and agreed-upon supervisory responsibilities.

  • Scope, expected availability, and compensation structure to be established before the start of services.

Why Join The Creston?
