About the Role:

As a Direct Support Professional with ASG Home Care, you will be responsible for:

• Providing one-on-one support to clients with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities

• Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores

• Encouraging independence, socialization, and community involvement

• Working closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans

• Maintaining accurate records and reports

• Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 support to clients with varying levels of needs

• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores

• Promote independence, socialization, and community involvement

• Facilitate and participate in recreational and leisure activities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment

• Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Human Services, Special Education, or related field preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (for travel to and from client homes)

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
