What You'll Do – Key Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

• Maintain a Clean Environment: Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and other designated spaces.

• Follow Infection Control Standards: Adhere to proper cleaning, disinfecting, and infection prevention procedures to promote resident safety.

• Perform Daily Housekeeping Duties: Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, remove trash, and replenish supplies as needed.

• Support Resident Comfort: Help create a welcoming, pleasant, and comfortable living environment for our residents.

• Maintain Supplies & Equipment: Properly use, store, and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment.

• Identify & Report Concerns: Promptly report maintenance issues, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or supply shortages to your supervisor.

• Work as a Team: Collaborate with nursing, maintenance, and other departments to support a safe and positive environment.

• Follow Facility Policies: Maintain compliance with all facility policies, sanitation procedures, and health and safety regulations.

What We're Looking For – Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience preferred.

• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care housekeeping experience is a plus!

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage daily responsibilities efficiently.

• Positive attitude and willingness to assist residents and coworkers.

• Ability to follow cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and infection control protocols.

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
