Regional Speech Therapist (SLP)

Position Summary:
The Regional Speech Therapist provides and oversees speech-language pathology services across multiple nursing homes within Baltimore/Silver Spring region. This role combines direct patient care with clinical leadership to ensure high-quality, compliant therapy services and positive resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans per physician orders

• Provide clinical support and guidance to speech therapy staff across facilities

• Ensure documentation and services comply with Medicare and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families

• Support quality improvement and program development initiatives

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Current state SLP license and ASHA CCC-SLP

• 2+ years experience in a nursing home or SNF setting

• Ability to travel between facilities; valid driver’s license

Preferred:

• Regional or supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge of SNF regulations and reimbursement
