At Tucker House, we believe that every detail matters when it comes to resident comfort and dignity. Our Laundry Aides play a vital role in ensuring residents always have fresh, clean linens and clothing in a warm, home-like environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and personal clothing.
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment safely.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
- Inspect items for wear, damage, or stains and report as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Handle residents’ personal items with care and respect.
Qualifications:
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred (not required – we provide training).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
