Med Tech — Medication Technician

Job Summary North Canton Nursing & Rehab is seeking a reliable, compassionate Med Tech (Medication Technician) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will assist with daily medication administration, track vital signs, and provide essential direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities

Safely prepare and administer medications and routine treatments according to physician orders and state regulatory standards.
Monitor resident condition, observe vital signs, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the Charge Nurse.
Assist residents with daily care activities, personal hygiene, and routine mobility.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and resident medication administration records (MAR).
Maintain clean, stocked, and secure medication carts and supply areas.
Partner with nurses, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care.

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Certification: State-approved Medication Technician certification (or equivalent State/STNA credential where applicable) required.
BLS / CPR: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required.
Experience: 0+ years (New graduates and entry-level candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply!).
Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver equipment and assist residents up to 50 lbs.
