Job Summary:

Join the Vivo Healthcare Taylor team as a Housekeeper and play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our healthcare facility. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital, providing an exceptional experience for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, including floors, walls, and surfaces

• Restock linens, supplies, and toiletries in patient rooms

• Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in waste baskets

• Clean and sanitize surfaces, including countertops, tables, and chairs

• Restock and replenish supplies and equipment as needed

• Maintain a safe and smoke-free environment throughout the facility

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth operation and to address any concerns

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• No prior experience necessary, as on-the-job training provided

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
