Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist occupational therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and function

  • Conduct daily living skills training, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Provide patient education and training on adaptive equipment and assistive devices

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies

  • Current COTA certification in the state of Ohio

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflows

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
