Job Summary:

The Orchards at Canterbury on the Lake is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Waterford Township, Michigan. As a member of our rehabilitation department, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to our residents in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Pay starts at $40 (FT) $50 (PRN)per hour and increases based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement effective physical therapy programs for residents with various medical conditions and disabilities

• Develop and modify treatment plans based on individual resident needs and progress

• Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and modalities, as prescribed

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback to improve patient outcomes

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or MSPT)

• Michigan state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)

• Preferably 0 years of experience, with experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings

• Familiarity with Net Health billing system

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities

Work Environment:
