About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver patient-centered care and treatment plans. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting patients with exercises, stretches, and other physical therapy interventions

• Monitoring patient progress and reporting to the Physical Therapist

• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient treatment

• Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans

• Providing exceptional customer service to our residents and families

Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and treatment plans

• Provide treatment interventions, such as exercises, stretches, and modalities

• Monitor patient progress and report to the Physical Therapist

• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment

• Participate in staff meetings and in-service training as needed

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care and safety

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current PTA certification in the state of New Jersey

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, transfer, and support patients as needed

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
