About the Role:

As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition care to our patients. You will work closely with our healthcare team to develop personalized nutrition plans, conduct nutrition assessments, and educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care and achieve optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition plans for patients with varying medical conditions

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

• Educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits, meal planning, and nutrition management

• Monitor and adjust nutrition plans as needed to ensure patient progress and outcomes

• Stay current with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition therapy

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or related field

• Master's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or related field preferred

• Completion of an internship program in dietetics or related field

• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Dietitian (CD) credential

• Possess or be able to obtain NYS certification as a Registered Dietitian
