About the Role:

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and engaging activities program that caters to the diverse interests and needs of our residents. This includes planning, coordinating, and implementing a wide range of activities, such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, games, and social events. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to identify and address the needs of our residents, and ensure that all activities are tailored to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that promotes resident engagement and satisfaction

• Plan and coordinate a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, exercise classes, games, and social events

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address the needs of our residents

• Conduct activities assessments to determine resident interests and preferences

• Maintain accurate records of activities and participant attendance

• Participate in staff meetings and activities planning committees

• Develop relationships with residents, families, and staff to promote a positive and supportive environment
