We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Time Cook to join our team in Bristol, Rhode Island. As a vital member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food for our residents in a timely manner, ensuring that every meal is a delight.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quality food in a timely manner consistent with individual resident needs

• Direct, evaluate, and discipline Dietary Assistants to assure proper meal preparation

• Monitor the Dietary Department's proper functioning to ensure quality service

• Determine amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus and ensure that supplies are obtained from storage area in time for meal preparation

• Responsible for preparation of all foods served following standard recipes and special diet orders

• Plan for production in order to adhere to meal serving hours, ensuring excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food

• Perform all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner

Requirements:

• Food safe certificate

• Experience working in a long-term care facility or similar setting as a cook

• 1 year of experience in a similar role
