Juniper Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and dependable Full-Time Cook to join our skilled nursing facility. We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing nutritious, quality meals and creating a positive dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents while following dietary needs and special diets

• Follow proper food preparation, handling, and storage procedures

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and work environment

• Follow state dietary regulations and food safety requirements

• Ensure meals are prepared and served accurately and on time

• Work cooperatively with dietary and facility staff

• Provide pleasant, friendly, and helpful service to residents

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or food service experience preferred

• Current ServSafe or food service sanitation certificate preferred/required

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to follow dietary guidelines and special meal requirements

• Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment

• Dependable, responsible, and committed to providing quality service to residents
