About the Role

As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our residents, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will work closely with our dietary staff to ensure that meals meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents, including special dietary requests and restrictions

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards

• Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and execute meal service for residents

• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels

• Participate in menu planning and food preparation for special events and activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred

• Previous experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in a healthcare setting

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
