Homestead of Kingfisher is searching for a cook to add to our team. As a Cook with our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive delicious and nutritious meals that cater to their individual needs and preferences.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will also maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhere to food safety guidelines, and assist with meal planning and menu development. Your attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menu plans

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety guidelines

• Assist with meal planning and menu development

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and deadlines

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ordering supplies

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, and colleagues

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ year of cooking experience in a senior living or healthcare setting, preferred

• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations, preferred

• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, providing excellent customer service
