Housekeeping Aide

Hudson Park Rehabilitation & Nursing is currently seeking a fulltime day, Housekeeper. Every other weekend and holiday commitment required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.

• Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

• Collaborate with the nursing and other teams to provide exceptional care.

Requirements: 

Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare setting.

• Knowledge of infection control practices.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues.

• Fast paced work environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks

• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, other personnel, and the public

• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
