Senior Living Leadership Experience Required

Build the Culture. Drive Occupancy. Lead the Community.

Are you a high-performing Executive Director, Senior Living Administrator, or Assisted Living Operations Leader who knows how to build strong teams, drive occupancy, and deliver measurable results?

Do you understand the connection between census growth, employee retention, resident satisfaction, and financial performance?

Are you a leader who takes ownership, builds accountability, and thrives when there's an opportunity to grow a community?

KindCare Naugatuck is looking for an experienced, sales-minded Executive Director to lead our growing senior living community in Naugatuck, Connecticut!

This is an opportunity for a results-driven leader who wants to do more than manage daily operations.

We're looking for someone who can develop a winning team culture, strengthen operational performance, partner closely with sales, and drive the community toward its full potential.

As a newer senior living development, KindCare Naugatuck offers the opportunity to make a visible impact as occupancy increases and the community continues to establish itself in the market.

If you're a confident, financially savvy, relationship-driven senior living leader who knows how to turn strategy into results, we'd love to meet you!

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

Growing Community • Regional Support • Leadership Ownership • Performance-Based Bonus

KindCare Naugatuck is a newer development conveniently positioned near major highways, offering accessibility and an opportunity to establish a strong presence in the surrounding market.

You'll join a growing region with a motivated community team and leadership partners who are committed to success.

As Executive Director, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Build a strong, accountable, high-performing leadership team.

  • Shape the community's culture as it continues to grow.

  • Take ownership of occupancy growth and operational performance.

  • Partner with sales to strengthen lead conversion, move-ins, and market visibility.

  • Develop strategies that improve resident satisfaction and associate retention.

  • Drive financial performance through thoughtful budgeting and expense management.

  • Establish strong relationships with residents, families, referral partners, and the surrounding community.

  • Work alongside an engaged regional leadership team.

  • Make a measurable impact on the community's long-term success.

This is an opportunity to lead a growing community and help establish it as a top choice for senior living in the Naugatuck market.

The Three Things We're Looking For

1. A Proven Team & Culture Builder

You know that strong community performance starts with strong people.

You have experience developing department leaders, establishing expectations, coaching employees, and creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered service.

You don't simply manage employees—you develop leaders and build teams that want to succeed.

You can:

  • Recruit, develop, and retain strong department leaders.

  • Establish clear performance expectations.

  • Address performance concerns directly and professionally.

  • Build trust and accountability across departments.

  • Improve associate engagement and retention.

  • Create a culture where employees take ownership of results.

2. Strong Financial Acumen & Operational Accountability

You understand the business side of senior living and know how to manage a community with financial discipline.

You're comfortable reviewing financial reports, managing budgets, controlling expenses, and making operational decisions that support long-term success.

You understand how occupancy, staffing, labor costs, resident care, and service quality influence overall financial performance.

You can:

  • Manage operating budgets and financial performance.

  • Monitor revenue, labor, and operating expenses.

  • Evaluate financial trends and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Hold department leaders accountable for budget performance.

  • Balance operational efficiency with resident care and satisfaction.

  • Develop and execute action plans to improve community results.

3. A Sales-Oriented Leader Who Drives Occupancy

You understand that sales is not just the responsibility of the Sales & Marketing Director.

You are actively involved in driving occupancy, supporting tours, building referral relationships, and creating a culture where every department contributes to the resident experience and community growth.

You know how to:

  • Partner with sales leadership to achieve occupancy goals.

  • Monitor leads, tours, deposits, move-ins, and conversion performance.

  • Build relationships with referral partners and local organizations.

  • Support sales events and community outreach.

  • Identify barriers to move-ins and implement solutions.

  • Create a strong first impression for prospective residents and families.

  • Build a community culture that supports both resident retention and new business.
