Job Summary

Are you a compassionate and dedicated caregiver looking for rewarding work? Always Best Care Boerne is seeking dependable Care Assistants to provide high-quality in-home care for seniors in Blanco, TX.

As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and helping ensure their safety and well-being.

Caregivers may also have opportunities to serve clients in nearby communities based on client needs and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Provide mobility and transfer assistance while prioritizing client comfort and safety

• Provide medication reminders

• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed

• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment

• Provide emotional support and companionship

• Document care provided and report changes in client condition to the supervising team

• Encourage appropriate recreational activities and social engagement

• Help ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times

Qualifications

• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per month

• Willing to use our integrated platform for documentation and time tracking

• Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required; training is provided

• Passionate about helping seniors and making a difference in their lives

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting and mobility assistance

• Dependable, patient, empathetic, and trustworthy

• Able to maintain confidentiality and follow instructions

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Valid driver's license required

• Reliable transportation required

• 3 professional references

• Must pass a background check and drug screen

Sign-On Bonus

Sign-on bonus eligibility requires a commitment to work 20+ hours per week.

Eligible Care Assistants receive:

• $250 after 90 days

• An additional $250 after 180 days

The 20+ hours per week requirement applies specifically to sign-on bonus eligibility. The minimum work requirement for the position is 20 hours per month.
