Job Summary

Are you a compassionate and dependable caregiver looking for rewarding work? Always Best Care Boerne is seeking Personal Care Assistants to provide high-quality in-home care for seniors in Medina, TX and nearby communities.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play an important role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and helping ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being.

We are continuously hiring for this role as we continue to serve clients in Medina and surrounding communities.

Shifts

• Flexible scheduling

• Monday–Sunday

• Morning and evening shifts available

• Shifts starting in 4-hour increments

• Live-in shift opportunities may be available based on client needs

Pay

$14–$16/hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Provide mobility and transfer assistance to ensure client comfort and safety

• Provide medication reminders

• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed

• Perform light housekeeping related to client care

• Provide emotional support and companionship

• Document care provided and report changes in client condition to the supervising team

• Encourage participation in appropriate recreational activities and social engagement

• Help ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times

Qualifications

• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per month

• Willing to use our integrated platform for documentation and time tracking

• Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required; training is provided

• Passionate about helping seniors and making a difference in their lives

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting and mobility assistance

• Dependable, patient, empathetic, and trustworthy

• Able to maintain confidentiality and follow instructions

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Valid driver's license required

• Reliable transportation required

• 3 professional references

• Must pass a background check and drug screen

Sign-On Bonus

Eligible Personal Care Assistants who commit to working 20+ hours per week may receive:

• $250 after 90 days

• An additional $250 after 180 days

The 20+ hours per week requirement applies specifically to sign-on bonus eligibility. The minimum work requirement for the position is 20 hours per month.
