We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at BrightCare HomeCare. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality home care services to our clients in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Mandeville, Louisiana, and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

As a Caregiver at BrightCare HomeCare, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care services to our clients, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Your duties will include:

• Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Providing medication reminders and management
• Assisting with mobility and transferring
• Maintaining a clean and safe living environment
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition to nursing staff

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
• Collaborate with nursing staff to create personalized care plans
• Provide ongoing care and support services as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry preferred
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively with clients and families
• Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to providing exceptional care
