Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRN

Mill Creek Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. Responsibilities

• Deliver care and therapeutic exercises based on treatment plans developed by the OT

• Assist residents with activities that promote daily living skills, independence, and quality of life

• Accurately document therapy sessions and monitor resident progress

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, residents, and family members to support individualized care goals

• Educate residents, families, and staff on home exercise and restorative programs

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives

• Provide coverage at nearby facilities when needed based on patient and staffing needs

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Current state license/registration as a COTA

• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus

• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and therapeutic activities

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach
