As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment that promotes our residents' health and well-being. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Hollywood, Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides or sterilization procedures as directed.

• Monitor the environment for potential hazards in the course of performing routine housekeeping tasks.

• Prioritize housekeeping requests involving safety issues and/or time-sensitive projects, including pre-arrival room checks for new admissions and spilled beverages.

• Clean vacant rooms as assigned and document cleaning and sanitization services per facility policies.

• Ensure proper disposal of infectious waste into appropriate containers as required by state/federal regulations and the facility infection prevention plan.

• Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner; service regularly to keep containers from overflowing.

Requirements:

• 1 year of housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting (or related field)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks according to urgency

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
