Job Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas in accordance with facility standards.

• Ensure assigned areas are clean, sanitary, organized, and safe at all times.

• Remove trash, soiled linens, and other waste according to facility procedures.

• Clean, maintain, and properly use housekeeping equipment and supplies.

• Inspect equipment regularly and report any malfunctions or maintenance concerns.

• Follow established infection prevention, sanitation, and safety procedures.

• Assist with laundry duties and learn to operate commercial laundry equipment as needed.

• Maintain a professional, respectful, and compassionate attitude when interacting with residents, families, and team members.

• Work collaboratively with other departments to support a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

• Complete assigned duties efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred; healthcare or commercial housekeeping experience is a plus.

• Previous healthcare or commercial laundry experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow an assigned schedule.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality service.

• Willingness to learn proper cleaning procedures and operate commercial laundry equipment.

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
