We are seeking a compassionate and caring Activity Assistant to join our dedicated team at Stillwater Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating a stimulating and engaging environment that fosters socialization, recreation, and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and implementation of recreational activities, including arts and crafts, games, and entertainment programs

• Lead group activities, such as exercise classes, card games, and board games

• Facilitate one-on-one activities, such as reading, puzzles, and outings

• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to promote a positive and supportive atmosphere

• Collaborate with the therapy team to incorporate activities into the resident's individualized care plans

• Monitor and report any changes in resident behavior, mood, or physical condition
