Schedule: Full-Time | Every Other Weekend

At Beardstown Health & Rehab Center, we are looking for a compassionate and energetic Activity Assistant to join our growing team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with seniors, creating meaningful experiences, and helping residents stay active, engaged, and connected.

As an Activity Assistant, you will support the Activity Director in planning and implementing recreational programs designed to meet the interests and individualized needs of our residents.

Your Role

• Provide engaging activities focused on entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and social interaction
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and implementing activities that support resident care plans
• Help prepare activity calendars, communication materials, and activity documentation
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families
• Encourage and motivate residents to participate in activities and events
• Promote a fun, welcoming, and supportive atmosphere throughout the facility
• Work a Full-time schedule with every other weekend availability required
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management

Who We're Looking For

• CNA certification preferred, but not required
• One year of related experience preferred, ideally in long-term care or healthcare
• Creative, organized, and motivated team player
• Passion for working with seniors and improving quality of life
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, compassionate, and enthusiastic attitude
