Occupational Therapist, OT – Per Diem / PRN

Citrus Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist / OT to join our dedicated rehabilitation team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a subacute care environment, helping them to enhance their functional abilities and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ occupational performance and needs.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique goals and challenges of each patient.

Provide direct therapy interventions to improve patients’ daily living skills, work-related skills, and leisure activities.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, speech-language pathologists, and physical therapists, to ensure coordinated care.

Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques, home exercises, and adaptive strategies.

Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Stay updated on best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

Previous experience in a rehabilitation or subacute care setting preferred.

Strong assessment and intervention skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
