Our 28th Street office is the home base for SYNERGY HomeCare of Yuma. We care for more than 300 clients a week, most of them seniors and veterans, and the care is paid through the VA, ALTCS, and families, so a dependable caregiver here does not sit around waiting for hours.

What a week looks like

You see the same two or three clients on a set schedule, in their own homes in Yuma. A morning visit might be a shower, breakfast, medications reminded on time, and a load of laundry. An afternoon visit might be lunch, a ride to the VA clinic or the pharmacy, and an hour of company. Every visit ends with a short note in our phone app, and you clock in and out by phone.

You bring

• One year or more of caregiving experience, paid or caring for your own family member.

• Reliability. Clients plan their day around the time you said you would be there.

• The ability to pass a background check and complete our onboarding and training.

• A driver's license and a dependable vehicle help in Yuma because many care plans include errands.

• English or Spanish or both. Yuma clients speak both.

SYNERGY provides

• $16.50 to $18.25 per hour, paid as a W-2 employee, with raises tied to experience and performance.

• Paid sick time, and medical, dental, and vision plans for eligible employees.

• Direct Care Worker training at no cost, including CPR and First Aid, before your first client.
