Who we serve in the Foothills

Retirees in Fortuna Foothills and east Yuma who want to age in their own homes, and whose needs have grown past what a companion can do: help with transfers, safe showers, and the kind of personal care a CNA is trained for. Many are veterans with care paid through the VA Community Care Network. The client count climbs every winter, and so do the hours for CNAs who live out here.

Duties

Hands-on personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers. Mobility assistance and safe positioning. Meals, light housekeeping, and laundry. Medication reminders for self-administered medications. Observe each client, document changes in condition in our mobile app, and report them to your supervisor the same day. Clock in and out by phone at every visit.

Who fits

A CNA whose Arizona certification is current, who has reliable transportation for the Foothills and east Yuma, and who can pass a background check and complete our onboarding. Prior home care or healthcare experience helps and is not required; we train on our care plans.

What the job pays

$17.50 to $18.35 per hour on a W-2, raises tied to experience and performance, and a choice of full time, part time, or overnight shifts. Paid sick time. Medical, dental, and vision for eligible employees. Training that leads into lead caregiver and office roles for CNAs who want them. A local Foothills office.
