Job Summary:

At Parklands Care Center, we are dedicated to providing high-quality care to our residents, and we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Environmental Services Technician to join our team! As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces

• Restock supplies and restrooms, and replenish linens and towels

• Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing

• Handle linen and trash removal, and ensure proper disposal of waste

• Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of public areas, including common spaces and hallways

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and efficient workflow

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1 year of experience in environmental services or a related field

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
