High school diploma or equivalent
At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license
Valid CDL with Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brakes endorsements
Strong safety awareness, communication, and customer-service skills
Calm, patient, dependable approach with children
Ability to pass required background checks and drug/alcohol testing
Safely transport children on assigned routes
Arrive on time and follow all traffic laws
Complete daily vehicle inspections and driver logs
Keep the bus clean, fueled, and mechanically sound
Monitor student behavior and report safety concerns
Assist children with boarding and exiting as needed
Communicate with dispatch and follow all safety procedures
Attend required safety trainings
