Central Supply Worker

Duties:

Obtain copy of current census from admissions.

Supply stock rooms on units.

Maintain a copy of central supply inventory sign-out sheet.

Create purchasing orders for all items in facility

Prepare claims for damaged merchandise, make corrections when the wrong items are shipped and store all supplies according to nursing home standards.

Research information about new equipment and arrange for demonstrations to administrators.

Assist with keeping their expenses within budget.

Keeping supplies and equipment in stock and complying with government ordering policies.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

One or more years of experience in purchasing, inventory management and cost control

Microsoft Office
