Dining Service Director in Assisted Living

Prosper at Wickliffe is seeking a motivated individual to serve as Dining Services Director at our amazing community in Wickliffe, OH. The individual will help carry out our mission to have a lasting impact on older adults in assisted living by making life fun, making the community a home, and offering purpose to everyone.

 

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of dining services operations, including food production, service, and quality control.

- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of residents.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and service.

- Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies according to a budget.

- Hire, train and supervise dining services staff, including chefs and servers.

- Coordinate for special events.

- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing resident concerns and resolving issues promptly.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent resident experiences.

 

Experience:

- Previous experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry, preferably in senior living.

- Strong knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and dining service standards.

- Proven ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
