What You’ll Do
- Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations
- Support, coach, and mentor nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Help manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflows
- Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives
- Step in as acting DON when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Active RN or LPN license (required)
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Prior leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and survey readiness
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- Passion for resident-centered care
Bonus Points If You Have
- ADON or Unit Manager experience
- Experience with EMR systems
- History of strong survey outcomes
