What You’ll Do:

• Provide nursing leadership and supervision during the evening shift

• Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff

• Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and quality care

• Monitor residents for changes in condition and ensure appropriate follow-up

• Respond to clinical concerns and emergencies

• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team

• Ensure medications, treatments, and documentation are completed appropriately

• Assist with admissions, transfers, and other clinical needs

• Address staffing and resident-care concerns

• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to nursing staff

• Ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations

• Complete required documentation and shift reports

• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment

• Communicate important resident and staffing information to the next shift

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Current Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

• Previous long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred

• Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Dependable and able to work independently

• Compassionate and committed to providing quality resident care
