Alliance Health Group is seeking a dependable and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations at our skilled nursing facility in Henderson, NC. We are looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and support the daily activities of the housekeeping team

• Assign housekeeping duties and ensure tasks are completed properly and on schedule

• Monitor the cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and other facility spaces

• Ensure floors are properly maintained through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing, stripping, waxing, scrubbing, and finishing as scheduled

• Ensure proper cleaning procedures and infection-control guidelines are followed

• Inspect completed work to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation

• Ensure housekeeping carts, equipment, tools, and supplies are clean, organized, and properly maintained

• Monitor inventory and notify appropriate leadership when supplies need to be reordered

• Maintain cleaning schedules and logs

• Train, guide, and support housekeeping staff in proper procedures and facility expectations

• Address housekeeping concerns and follow up to ensure they are resolved

• Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment and coordinate repairs as needed

• Report any questionable resident conditions or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor

• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment

• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure the housekeeping department operates efficiently and effectively

• Help identify opportunities to improve workflow, cleanliness, and the resident experience

• Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance the work environment and quality of service

• Maintain and use housekeeping equipment and supplies properly

• Ensure staff follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection-prevention standards

• Meet the physical and sensory requirements of the position and be able to work effectively in the skilled nursing environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Ability to supervise and work effectively with a team

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, professional, and dependable

• Positive and upbeat attitude

• Must be available to work weekends
