Cedar Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeping Technician to join our team in Clemmons, NC. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys being part of a team dedicated to providing an exceptional resident experience.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust mop, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other assigned areas

• Empty and properly dispose of trash

• Follow established cleaning and infection-control procedures

• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping carts

• Properly use, clean, and store housekeeping equipment, tools, and supplies

• Notify the supervisor when cleaning supplies are running low

• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens

• Maintain accurate logs of completed cleaning assignments

• Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor

• Report any concerns regarding resident conditions or safety to the appropriate supervisor

• Follow all facility safety and infection-prevention guidelines

• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively

• Positive, dependable, and professional attitude

• Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures

• Must be available to work weekends
