Salary: $125,000 – $143,000 annually

Lynn Care Center is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and ensure high-quality, compassionate resident care. The DON will oversee clinical operations, nursing staff, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily nursing operations.

• Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff.

• Ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

• Monitor staffing, clinical documentation, care plans, and resident outcomes.

• Participate in surveys, audits, and QAPI initiatives.

• Partner with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

• Support recruitment, retention, and professional development of nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

• Five years of long-term care or acute healthcare experience preferred.

• At least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience required.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Long-term care leadership experience preferred.
