George Washington Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and caring Housekeeper to join our team. Housekeeping plays an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff.

What You'll Do

As a Housekeeper, you will:

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, and common areas.

• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas.

• Ensure resident rooms and common spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming.

• Follow proper infection control and safety procedures.

• Safely handle and store cleaning supplies and equipment.

• Remove trash and replenish supplies as needed.

• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the appropriate team members.

• Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, and coworkers.

• Help maintain a positive and comfortable environment for everyone in the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

• Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or hotel setting is a plus.

• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.

• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
