Brookside Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and help provide high-quality care to our residents. We are seeking either an LPN or RN who is organized, dependable, and passionate about nursing and resident care.

Position Details

LPN Unit Manager

• Pay: $36.00–$38.00 per hour

• Compensation: Paid Salary

• License Required: Current Virginia LPN license

RN Unit Manager

• Pay: $43.00–$45.00 per hour

• Compensation: Paid Salary

• License Required: Current Virginia RN license

Pay is based on licensure, qualifications, and experience.

What You'll Do

As a Unit Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for your assigned nursing unit while supporting our nursing staff and ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and quality care.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff on the assigned unit.

• Monitor resident care and ensure nursing services are provided according to established standards.

• Assist with developing, implementing, and updating resident care plans.

• Monitor documentation and ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical records.

• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Assist with staff scheduling, assignments, and daily unit operations.

• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and support as needed.

• Assist with ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

• Respond to resident and family concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.

• Support the Director of Nursing and nursing leadership team with daily clinical operations.

• Promote teamwork, accountability, and excellent resident care.

Qualifications

LPN:

• Current and active Virginia LPN license.

• Previous long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.

• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills.

RN:

• Current and active Virginia RN license.

• Previous long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.

• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills.
